Simple Phonealarm Question

I have a simple question. Ever since I installed PhoneAlarm, my SMS confirmation is not working. I am talking about the receiving end. I enjoyed when the notification sound went off, and it would display the message on my screen for the few seconds so I could read it. Now I get the notification sound, but no message. BUT I do get the notification deliver message. Any Ideas??

I cantfind any phonealarm setting that would cause this. but try checking under menu>settings>sounds and notifications>notifications tab.
make sure u have Display message on screen checked for the Messaging: Text message option.
however if u are using threaded sms unchck everything under Messaging: text messages and select your preferences for Messaging: Threaded SMS

hope this helps

I really have no answer. I have the box checked. I just did a hard reset to isolate this program and sure enough, it is indeed phoneAlarm. Anyone else have this problem?? I love the application, but i am picky with how I like my phone.

Which version are you running? I'm running the 1.61 build 164 and have not had any issues.

It really depends on the phonealarm version you are using and the sms program/email program you are using, and in what order you installed them, there hace been updates for threaded sms etc, when in doublt log in their forum.

I was running the latest version, just downloaded the install file off of the website to ensure that I had the updated version. It is registered. I am using the stock messaging program, no threaded SMS. Nothing special was installed, as I previously said I reseted the device, hard reset, and installed only the phonealarm app. That is how i isolated the problem to this application.

On the Advanced Settings tab are the 2 options:

SMS Send Notification
SMS delivery notification

Maybe setting these correctly will help

Tried. Still didn't help. I really don't know what the problem is.

Go to your settings profiles highlight sms alarm where you set the alarm sound, see the pop up check the box
