Is there anyway to make to the start menu/taskbar appear on the on screen. when the iphone.exe is running? I like iphone interface but i also like having the start button and extra icons at the top telling me my connection status etc.

i do not believe this is an option i think u can hit the windows button and see it but all the time i dont not believe it is an option sorry

Alright I assumed there wasn't a way since we don't have the source. I guess i need to research on how to write my own apps. I'm a programmer but have not ever messed with actuall programming on my PPC.

What language are these programs written in? This iphone.exe doesn't seem to complicated. Just some icons with links to them. (Some other information obviously like missed calls and text messages etc.)

Thank you wowthatisrandom, I have d/led this iphone theme, the slide2unlock and also the iphone dialer skin and I love it. So easy to use and even for a novice like me, it only took a few to get things straightened out on my 6700. Now if you could just point me to a black .tsk or something so my backgrounds and top/bottom bars are black instead of blue, it would be much appreciated.

great app. I am having a big problem one thing though. I can't get the default contacts to load using contact.lnk. I did end up linking to PocketCM which is fine.

But, on the same premise, I can't get it to load Tasks. These are the links that I have tried:

\Windows\Appbuttons\tasks.lnk
\Windows\Start Menu\Prpgrams\tasks.lnk

i believe tasks.lnk is a shortcut for:
poutlook.exe tasks

so i tried that also and no go

btw, i am on a mogul with wm6

On the flip side i was able to create lnk file i called CloseApp.lnk which i created with notepad containing the line:
8#"ctlpnl"cplmain.cpl,4,2?shellres.dll,-13900
which opens the running applications list and that works great!

please help me with Tasks

link tasks to

\windows\tasks.exe

that will make tasks work...

as far as contacts im unsure maybe link it to

\windows\start menu\programs\contacts.lnk

but this wont work period assuming uve installed the pocketcm cab that redirects contacts everywhre to pcm

is there anyway to remove the date and time from the slide2lock, i have a really hot picture and the date and time is blocking the top of it.

I am not sure, but I think if you change the reg settings for date and time (someone in here may know how to blank it out) to blank, or if you take the images for alpha-numeric characters, and in photoshop, blank them out, and over-write them back!

Love this theme. I have two issues I have yet to be able to figure out.
1. Is there a way to get a radar/weather to launch correctly, I saw the question but no answer.

i would try eraseing the 2 reg keys...

HKCU\Software\AC\Slide2unlock\TimeFormat

HKCU\Software\AC\Slide2unlock\DateFormat

try erasing both those keys if that doesnt work.. then just put them back and erase the values.... i assume eraseing the whole thing will work and also reduce the RAM used

this goes for photo contact dialig page as well... i have figured a work around for this one tho... its a pain in the ass but a workaround all in the same...

make sure you have mortscript installed and you have VJDialer installed and then write a script for each number that looks like this...

Run("\Program Files\VJDialer.exe 1234567890")

and name that a person... thin when you set it up in there you set the icon to a picture and the the script to that picture and you get a make shift photo dialer... set all this up to page one

I'm new at MortScript, so please don't laugh.
I have both MortScript 4 & VJDialer installed.
I pasted Run("\Program Files\VJDialer.exe 123456") to txt file.
Assigned a name "Joe"
I can assign the icons, and direct the path, but then I'm stuck. Should I be naming the file Joe.exe ? Does having just 7 numbers matter if it's within the same zip code?

lol im not gonna laugh im VERY impressed that your trying to do it on your own most people would just ask me or someone else to do it for them... but since you asked and are trying i would love to help...

heres what you need to do... rename that txt file to a .mscr (as mortscipt only looks for files ending in .mscr.... you can still start with a txt just rename it and i just set my desktop to open mscrs in notepad.

then create a shortcut to that mscr which will end up looking like joe.lnk you should be able to link the button thta lnk file :-)

1. in Programs - Mortscript folder- I will have 2 files (joe.mscr & joe.lnk)?
2. in this application's config file, the path will for this Button will be
\Program Files\mortscript\joe.lnk or
\Program Files\mortscript\joe.mscr ?
3. this is REAL dumb, but how do I create a sortcut to that joe.mscr file from my ppc? I am used to doing it on the comp but never here.

Wow => I did more searching and found that I'm supposed to use GSFinder+ to create a shortcut, right? So, I created a text file: Run("\Program Files\VJDialer.exe 1234567") from my desktop. Copied it to my PPC, renamed it Joe.mscr. Ran GSFinder+, created a shortcut to Joe.mscr and sees that the a file was created named Joe.lnk in the Mortscript folder.
However, when I linked to it in the congif file: /Program Files/MortScript/Joe.lnk , nothing happens when I run iphone and click on that button. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. :(

I uninstalled VJDialer (don't ask why, I just messed up) and installed the latest one he had on his website. So, now my path is: Program Files\Vijay555\VJDialer.exe
I created:
Run("\Program Files\ViJay555\VJDialer.exe", "1234567")

Ran GSFinder to create the shortcut. I know this time the mortscript is correct because when I only clicked on the mscr file once to try and save it, the dial pad came up and started dialing the # I specified. However, after the .lnk shortcut was created, clicking the icon did not do anything.

I thought the icons had to be linked to an .exe file?

I'm getting closer though....please be patient and help me get this working. Going to see my brother Saturday and I want to show him my phone (he has that "other" phone). LOL

One more thing, Wow, I just ran the .lnk file through GSFInder and it brought up the dial pad and started dialing the # correctly.

So that part is correct now....leaves only me not being able to tie it correctly to the button in config.
Clicking the Joe.mscr file in Mortscript folder also works.
\Program Files\MortScript\Joe.lnk does not seem to work, neither does \Program Files\MortScript\Joe.mscr.

so heres a quick fix until i can figure out a better way to do this bc im having the same problem it doesnt error it just does nothing... i figured this out altho it adds an extra push required but its the best i got until i have a bit more time to play around...

on you PC create a txt file that looks like this (literally copy and paste change the number)

20#"\Windows\cprog.exe"-url tel: 1234567

save it and then rename it to .lnk

this will allow you to link in iconfig i have verified this working... idk know what you did doesnt work :-( bc i definatly thought it would

sorry ill try a few more things but until then hope this will suffice

i tried everything it must be a problem with this program its driving me insane that it wont do anything with the lnks that i made... you dont even need morescript you shouldnt at least...

i did this (on PC) created a shortcut... right click properties -> shortcut tab at bottom -> target added 1234567 after the " with a space... renamed it test.lnk and taped it and bingo it dialed 1234567 but when i tried to link it to the iphone theme it just does NOTHING... ahh you got me pulling my hair out... night try more tomorrow

I tried a variation of your method. Copied 20#"\Windows\cprog.exe"-url tel: 1234567 to a notepad. Gave it a name.lnk
I placed this file in \Program Files\Iphone folder and linked from there.

I got it to work, but it does call up a second push button (a bubble reads "phone" dial 123425678? and yes or no.

That works for me, unless you have something that would automatically dials that #, i.e. w/o prompting the "dial" question.

Thanks again for the program and hanging in there to help me with my questions.

Btw, does anyone have the slingbox icon I can use?

I'm having the same issue someone else had a page or 2 back... My Live search, contacts & SMS all say "Link File Not Found"... I am using contact manager for my contacts, I have live search running on my today screen but I don't know about the SMS... I never installed anything just the text messaging that the PPC-6800 comes with. Can you help? Just so you know, i'm lucky I can dial a phone so thanks to you & the interney I can have some cool stuff on my phone! Thank You for the program either way, I have been looking for a cab for this!!!!!!!

One more thing, is there a page 2 or do I have to create it?
