Making My Own Theme A Few Questions??

Ok i finally decided to go ahead and make my own theme being as though i cant find one to fit what i want......(breif history) I downloaded manila editor dont remember what version but it kept erroring out on me with any file i tried to replace. So i found another program which is cfc0[1].45 just starting with it today not really that sharp but it doesnt give me errors and it actually changed the few icons that i tried. This brings me to my dilemma HOW DO I MAKE IT INTO A THEME FILE????? I dont think either of these programs have the option and what other files may i be possibly missing i mean this is really racking my brains i've been doing this for like 3hrs at work (dead as hell here) and i for the life of me cant figure it out. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Re: Making My Own Theme A Few Questions??

After you've made all your changes, make the files into a .zip folder.

Then change the extension on that folder from .zip to .theme

then save to phone, change with diamond config - should be good to go.

Re: Making My Own Theme A Few Questions??

did you zip the original folder, or the folder with the changed graphics?? I did that a lot the first time I tried. You can change the .theme file back to .zip and see if you can upload the files and see if its actually the changed ones or not. That may be the issue.

Re: Making My Own Theme A Few Questions??

How do you know what the manilla file is for each tab and to change the icon on each tab is changing the icon the only thing you need to do?

Say for instance, the manilla file called 36eabe92_manila is for the orb that displays the number of txt messages/emails etc. If i wanted to change this orb to something else would these be the steps i would need to follow:

run cfc-gui pick the manilla file i'm working with replace the icon with another picture (.png file) and save it. Then drop the modified manilla file back in the windows folder.

Or do i need to do a lot more than that?
Oh and what about the size of the picture you replace the original one with? does it need to be a specific size etc...

Thanks in advance.
