so your 1x icon is the black circle w/ 1x? does the black circle w/ Ev ever show up or just the 1x black circle and greyed out E box? let me know i might need to fix something, and if you want the rA icon w/ stripes to match your 1x icon tsowen also shared a 1x box w/ stripes just like your rA and i could change that 2?

Thanks, but I downloaded the tsowentasbar2.cab and the speaker icon I get does not look like the one in the picture. Also, it does not have the updated HTCVolume.dll that is supposed to work with Mighty's ROMs -- unless it has been updated since I downloaded.

Yes, my 1x and EV both have the black circle. As of yesterday revA is now available in my area, so this was the first time I noticed the greyed out E.

That would be great to have all 3 match. I really like the revA that you fixed for me cause it matches the theme. Either one of the black style square boxes will match. I do prefer the box because it is larger than the circle.

One more thing, when I tap the top of the screen to bring up the system status I still show the E?

I have exactly the same issue. I've been using tsowentaskbar2 with the updated HTCVolume.dll. I've seeing the 1x and Ev icons in a black circle (which are my favorite) but now I get the E in a greyed out box. When I uninstall the taskbar, I get all the default HTC icons and I get "rA" in the taskbar. I'd like an rA icon that matches the 1x and Ev black circle icons but if that is not possible, I suppose the ones with the square boxes will do.

Everything is fixed, changed the speakers to the one you quoted from the picture in post #1, used the new HTCVolumecontrol from MightyMike, added rA to the tapres.192.dll, added the following:
BT Discoverable Mask.bmp
BT On Mode Mask.bmp
BT Stereo Headset.bmp
BT Stereo Headset.bmp
GPSAux.dll
HTCVolumeControl.dll -- New Version to match MightyMikes ROM
Stereo Headset.bmp
Stereo Headset Mask.bmp
tshers.192.dll
VoiceCmdRes.dll
NotificationManager.dll
WLMMessengerResources.192.dll

so are you using the updated version of tsowentb2? or did you want me to still replace the Ev an 1x icon? let me know so i can do that for you if you want
as far as when your in system status it will be the greyed out e cuz thats in large titlebar.dll, i know there was problems using custom icons in this dll being disorted. but post ur ltb.dll an i can check it out. i know gadget had a fix but i never tested it so maybe...

alright went ahead and did it anyway, 1x, Ev and rA all changed/ all matching. thank tsowen for the icons. let me know how it turns out.

not to sure, best bet is to download a qvga taskbar (download 1 that is not cab but only the dlls) like mine:mrgreen: then extract the dlls from your treo and compare the 2. find out if you have the same dlls. and if it looks the same then go ahead and try 1. (but you might want to do a complete backup before cuz if sumthing doesnt go right, you can hard reset, restore backup and you wont have 2 start over)

thats just what i would do, gud luck and share your findings.

so this might be off topic a bit but the quick menu in the taskbar (far right), is there a exe oe lnk for that specific button or is it hardcoded into the taskmanager? i was trying to see if i could use vjbrisk to open taskfascade instead of the quick menu by redirecting it.
