HTC Touch Pro Black Bars up top and bottom

Just wondering if there is a way to be able to make the top and bottom blueish bars black, and how?

There are MANY ways to achieve this.

I personally would recommend RCmod2.1 for you because it is very simple to use.

Install it, and select the color you want.

Hey thanks man I did that and selected teh color but it does not change is there something that I am missing?

I think you are referring to the HTC Theme stuff. Manila files will have to be replaced. I am attaching a zip of screnshots and the Manila files that will have to be replaced....

I recommend you back them up and whatnot.

Also Google PAMAS Transparent bars.....there are some CAB files out there....

Some are black, striped, and clear.

Aight I got that downloaded, is there a way that i can view the windows directory on my pc, because I cannot figure it out to save my life.

Hawk, lookup Total Commander. It's a free application and if you Google it, you will find it easy! You will want to install it on your device and it is a more powerful explorer for phone. So, basically, once you install Total Commander, copy the manila files to your storage card.

Then, open up Total Commander and navigate to your storage card. Select the files from there and copy themto your windows directory on your phone and select to overwrite the manila files in your windows directory. Mae sure you backup those files in your windows directory first, hough......

I don't want to be held liable if you don't back up first!

You can either manually copy the files from Total Commander to your storage card or you will have to get a third party app to do a total backup....Spd has a good product for that.....
