how to make a today screen theme ? ...HELP !!

i want to make a customized today screen theme tsk. for my touch phone but i have no clue how to do it ? i have attached a zip folder with the diamond theme tsk and a png dna flux wallpaper QVGA. i want to combine the taskbar theme from the diamond and the dna flux wallpaper image. the reason i want to do this is because when i just try to apply just the wallpaper to my phone it is all distorted and blurry.

i tried what you want and i did this, i used tc to get the folder and unzipped that. got the diamond tsk file to today screen and then opened png. file and thats the one thats blurry so i got png on screen hit menu under dropdown set as today screen and dropped transparancy to 0 and set it. try that

If all you want are different background screens, you can copy the files to the \Windows\ folder on your smartphone

look for these files in your smartphone and then create replacements based on the desired image

tdywater_240_320.gif
tdywater_320_240.gif

once the new files have been copied, soft reset (reboot) and you'll see the new image

interestingly enough, you can create the images as jpg and simply rename them to the appropriate gif name and they work fine

i tried to apply the wallpaper with 0 transparency and it is still very blurry. i noticed with the themes the wallpapers are crystal clear for some reason ?

the more i look i dont think i got what you wanted. the png file is nice and clear but its now the today screen. wow thats actually nice wallpaper, mind if i use it? lol

If I understand what you desire,
download the attached file
rename it to tdywater_240_320.gif
copy to the Windows directory on your PPC
reboot your PPC

both files for me are crystalclear. the png file was the one that was blurry and thats why i took transparancy down to o. both are clear i just dont use both together. the png file is cool im using it now as wallpaper for s2u2 and the tsk for today screen. both should be clear though.

ok but when i download it to my pc the zip won't open says not supported ? is there something contained in there ?

try total commandr on ppc and move file windows that way. i dont put files in windows but i can put them anywhere else with tc

never mind no matter what i do the photo is all distorted and blurry, i need a crystal clear image.

makes no sense because when i apply it with spb mobile shell theme it is clear as day.
