Phone locked after install

I just installed HTC Home V2.1. After the soft restart, it locked up my phone. Not sure what to do now. I can't uninstall it or anything. Cant take calls, or make calls out. Is there anything i can do before i do a hard restart? I'd hate to loose everything.

When I had this happen the only thing i could do was a hard reset.

same here, you could try to uninstall using ActiveSync.

Same here. I haven't tried to install it again as I'm afraid it will do the same thing. Anyone that had this problem try to install it again? Did it work?
