Clear Top and Bottom bars

Is there a way to get the top and bottom bars on a windows mobile 6 to bt either semi or full transparent leaving just the icons and start button? So that on can have a full screen wall paper. Any ideas? Or is this like WM not being able to have animated wall paper.

I too would like to see this happen. It makes me mad on how the top and bottom bars cut off a lot of the picture wallpaper. If only it could be somewhat like the Vista Aero theme....

try ui tweeker. make top and bottom bars any color. if you have black wallpare and black bars it looks more flowing. you can change ton of stuff with it. to me its a must have.

I have ui tweeker and rc mod, what I am trying to accomplish is reclaim the screen real estate, without losing the functionality. and to keep my device un cluttered with after market interfaces. I have tried them all and end up going back to the standard HTC home. but I would like more room for gps today and pocket music plug ins.

use dciNoBar take that file and put it in your windows>start up and soft reset...then u would never see the bottom bar again...
