How do I install the theme. When I unxipped the file it had a readme file and a .tsk file. I then proceeded to copy the .tsk file into the windows directory. Went into settings/today and loaded the calm land theme. But all it did was change my today background image. How can I get it to change the full theme in SPB mobile shell?

Am using the spb mobile shell made by greatbal making it look more like the diamond. The problem i am facing after installing the Calm Land theme is that the default screen remains black (as the same in greatbal's theme) and doesnt change to the background image of calm land, Please advice what to do

did you soft reset after installing new theme?

Some times you have to make a backup of your original Mobile Shell and when you want to install another theme..you have to completely deleted the SPB Mobile Shell folder..and then restore it..after that install new theme..since mostly they use different .xml code in creating the themes..I ever experienced things like you

Have absolutley no clue whats going wrong in the installation process. I even deleted the entire mobile shell as adviced and reinstalled. After that i installed calm land but only the background changed to that of calm land. I am not getting the clock or any ther icons as is diplayed in the calm land theme above in the post.

Sorry, but i dont know whats qvga. I am using a HTC P3300 also known as Artemis.

after soft rest it worked

new question ....is there ne way 2 get it 2 boot up runnin this theme?
i dont want 2 have 2 go 2 shell and have 2 run the program
and u said u had a matchin s2u2 theme aslo .....u mind uppin that also?

I LOVE this theme and have been using it since I saw it. Any chance you can add a second contacts page to it though? Or point me in the right direction so I could figure out to do it myself? I tried searching on XDA, but I couldn't find anything.

The Green Fields would be wonderful if it was 320 x 320! I liked Mobile Shell, but took it off due to lack of themes in 320 x 320..I tried my hand at one...needless to say this is not my area of expertise!

Hey everyone i have a question to ask yall. I know "SEARCH" would probably help but i have done that already and still can't find a solid answer to what im looking for. I am getting the Diamond sometime this week and have always dabbled in the idea of putting themes on my PPC phones. I had the touch but never "themed" it out like i wanted to. Now i plan to do so but am wondering,

WHICH PROGRAM WOULD BE BETTER FOR THE DIAMOND? WAD or the SPB MOBILE SHELL?

After looking at these themes on here, especially the iphone theme, im literally ecstatic about the idea of being able to finally put some cool themes on my phone. Any advice or info is, like always, greatly appreciated.

It would be hard for anyone but you to answer that because it is a matter of personal preference. Both programs offer a free trial period, so when you get your phone, try them both and see which is right for you.

I personally prefer Mobile Shell, but others prefer WAD. You may want to see which skins you like for each program, just remember that they have to be made for VGA screens. You may find that most skins are for QVGA as this has been the most common resolution, but VGA seems to be getting more popular now so more skins will become available for both.

okay well i appreciate your response i didn't know they were similar to each other. lets say i wanted to put the themes such as the iphone that are here on this page which program would be preferred? so really the difference is the price?
