My suggestion would be to check out the themes/skins and pick the one you like best for each product then use the free trial period to see which one you prefer. As far as any specific theme/skin, you have to use it on whichever program it was made for. The themes/skin are not interchangable. There is also a program called ThrottleLauncher that has themes/skins for it and I believe it is a free program. |
Re: Nice mobile shell themes
Hey nice themes loving the color for the OMNIA one, but quick ?. Would either the OMNIA theme or the IPHONE theme work on the DIAMOND? I know yall are probably getting fed up with me asking about the IPHONE theme, but if it can fit on the CDMA SPRINT DIAMOND, i will try it out, if need be please shoot me a PM or if anyone has any suggestions or advice please send it my way or post it up =D>=D>

Another option is to learn how to do some skinning yourself. If you learn how to do that, you can convert any skin you want to VGA. You can find a lot of Mobile Shell skinning information at xda-developers.com. I'm having a problem trying to install this beautiful theme. I read the instructions on how to install it, except for one little problem. My HTC-6800 (Sprint), doesn't have a spb mobile shell default folder. What do i need to do to find the folder on my device? What do i do in order for me to install this them into my phone.....any suggestions?

You can drag all the new files into the mobile shell folder using ActiveSync & just tell it to overwrite the existing files.

Re: Some Ultimate Mobile Shell Themes ( Updated 10/1/08 )
Alright here is another set of silly questions. I downloaded the spb mobile shell cab and installed it. I'M IN LOVE WITH IT. I understand that i have 15 days of playtime before i can register it or buy it. I'm sure all of you guys have probably bought it from the site, is there anyway "Around" that obstacle? if so please let me know. Also, i was playing around with the settings and the one thing i would like to know is how do i get my today screen inside spb mobile shell to stay "Permanent". Can the entire UI that windows mobile 6 be replaced with the mobile shell program. I would love to know how to do this. I was just looking for something to make my phone look cool. mobile shell gave me something totally different. SO I NEED THE HELP PPCGEEKS. :headbang: Thanks in advance.

after fiddling around with it, I slowly to love it little by little. as far as that other request, no problem. I was just asking if there was, but I do intend on buying it @ the end of the trial period. Finally, I believe I phrased the question wrong, now that im reading this over. I wanted to know how I get the now screen to stay over the today screen permanently. that and all the stuff that mobile shell does. thanks a bunch peeps.

Someone asked:
Does mobile shell still drain the battery on the touch really bad? The latest shell does not drain my battery (HTC Touch user). I even left my phone uncharged all night and it still had the same charge amount when I woke. Bob |

Re: Some Ultimate Mobile Shell Themes ( Updated 11/7/08 )
I see where some people talk about switching between the skins...primarily the white skins for the sunlight, and back to darker at night. Is there a quicker/easier way to do this short of copying over the .dat files in MS from the computer to the PPC?

Re: Some Ultimate Mobile Shell Themes ( Updated 11/7/08 )
HI folks,
So, I have one of the themes on my Mogul, and I really like it overall. But I feel as if it slows my phone down, sometimes noticeably. This is a theme on SPB, but I had a theme that was used in the regular "Today screen" and I liked it. (can't find it now... basically looked like an Iphone) Has anyone put together a theme that would work through the regular interface (you know, the guava bubbles, HTC, et al. screen?) Charlie O. |
