How to use animated file?

Hi, i would like to know how to usea gif file as backkground image. I put a gif file as background image it just stays as the image, the animation is not there. Is there any software which can make the animation in backgrund picture?

I am running the latest version of S2V... where does it let you use an animated gif file for your Today wallpaper and let the animation play?

i dont think it does. Im pretty sure its only for S2U2
