I know Kevin already apologized for his behavior but I just HAD to say (in rtl's defense) that rtl was a wonderful help to me. I worked on my phone for a couple of hours last night and although I haven't mastered everything I'm pretty pleased with how I have things set up so far. I am faaaaar from a pro in this "phone tweaking game" but rtl made me feel like not giving up. I installed the SPB program so I haven't tried ultimate launch yet but I'm sure I'll be checking it within the next 15 days or so....

Just had to say my piece.

P.S. I work out of my home and am busy now yet would appreciate your reply if you get this today and will start on this tonight.
first, you don't NEED mobile shell... this theme consists of skins for the different programs. they do not all tie together, they are separate. so you can use what you want... for instance, i use rltoday, weather panel and the pcmkeyboard skins... i have a skin of my choice for pocketcm.

in pocketrar, when you tap on a zip or rar file, it'll show u its contents, so if you see a cab file in it and tap it, it will extract and begin installing that cab.

On a side note, i use SPB PocketPlus in order to access BOTH rltoday and weather panel from my today screen.

another side note, the reason i dont use mobile shell is cuz i really like using MacFlo as my program launcher.

Point taken again and I understand your feelings for we all learn and think differently. I am glad RTL HELPED YOU. This is a very helpful forum and if ok to ask for I am still struggling here what was your secret to putting this thing together or as you said your pleased so far? I assume this means you got most things working right . The only thing in my post I don't regret and I think when you try ultimate lauch you will agree with me but it is by far the most complicated today launcher out there and only the true expert's for windows mobile devices use this as their launcher for the most part. Most use SPB Pocket Plus or SBSH i-launcher. Kevin

Re: UPDATED 6/12/08 Windows Mobile 7 Themes!

How can you get the start bar and the bar at the bottom of the pic in the first post to look like that. I can't seem to get it? Actually I don't have the bottom bar at all.

Re: UPDATED 6/12/08 Windows Mobile 7 Themes!

This is a great theme. I just loaded the S.M.S. 2 and I love it. The only problem is that where it says "Orange" in the screenshots on the first page of this thread on my phone it says "Verizon Wireless". The Verizon part runs into the speaker icon on the one in the middle, and runs into the time on the other two. Is there a way to change it from "verizon wireless" to just "verizon"?

Re: UPDATED 6/12/08 Windows Mobile 7 Themes!

Het Dude what up, clean out some of your 50 pms for i tried sending you one 15 minutes ago and it said you exceeded your quota and would not let me. fyi, stuck at step 8 extracting from pocketrar to my newly created WM7 Folder and yet instead of transferring as 5 folder's with files in them they all transferred again as cab files. There appears no workaround for this issue for i then dleleted those files and extracted and overwrite them to the same folder and the exact same thing happened. Now 8:30 a.m. and seeing you were up till almost 3 i will stop and await further instr. kevin

Re: UPDATED 6/12/08 Windows Mobile 7 Themes!

The top and bottom bars are created with a program called Wisbar Advanced 3. It can be found at www.lakeridgesoftware.com (this is not a free program). The link for the theme can be found here in post #31. http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...=392985&page=4.

Smile Re: UPDATED 6/12/08 Windows Mobile 7 Themes!

WOW, THIS IS EXCITING FOR AFTER 5 GOING ON 6 DAYS OF TRYING SYANNI85 IN PARTICULAR, OVER THE TOP HELP, STRAWSY, REMEMBER YOU REPLY TO ME DAY'S AGO FOR YOU HELPED TO, AND YES YOU RTL. ONE BITE AT A TIME. RTL, I ASSSUME YOU RECEIVED MY PUBLIC AND PROIVATE TO YOU APOLOGY AND EVERYTHING IS COOL.
Ok, no more cap's. It is now installed not perfect like I had hoped yet the baby is there minus the top and bottom bar's which rtl just answered for me in this reply to his post. I think I can figure this out but rtl your helped to make the top and bottom thing happen in siple instructions would be helpful and yes I just now purchased the program wisbar advance 3.
Syanni85, your instructions were AWESOME and the only thing that did not work and is still driving me nuts is this stupid weather panel program for I followed your instructions to the letter yet after the soft rest, options etc there were no themes or icons there other than the default. Worse yet and this is insane for it is the fixed cab version I have now installed at least 6 times and I still get auth failed. Any helpful ideas anyone. YEAH BABY. Kevin
