Transparent Bars?
I was looking for something that could make the bars with the softkeys and start button transparent?
I know if i push there it'll go to contacts, so i'd like the screen real estate to see my wallpapers better Something that either keeps text or makes the text transparent both work, (although I'd like to keep the text if possible...

UI Tweaker does allow you to change the color of text on your today screen...however it may not change the soft key text. Run a search for it in this forum (I just posted a copy of it the other day in the WM5/WM6 themes sticky post too).
