Just navigate to the windows folder with file explorer and rename it to something, i always just throw .bk on the end. The new image works perfectly, but if you want to change back to stock you will need the orginal backed up unless you want to hardreset.

if you are talking about the original one, just go to your windows folder and copy to your storage card.

i got t-mobile wing how do i put the dial pad on it i tried it like you said but nothing happened. should i use phm registry editor and if so how do i do it. please help

On the wing unfortunately I do not know for sure. If you havent try finding and installing the HTC Touch Dialer (can be found all over). After that is installed (and working) it should just be a matter of running the included .cab file which will install over the touch dialer cab.
