There is no "theme" file per se. You simply use claunch (and the settings earlier in this thread) to create shortcuts to the programs you want and then assign the custom icons to them. So you will need to copy the .bmp files to someplace convenient on your PPC... like your mypictures directory.

The PhoneAlarm program on the other hand does have a theme in the zip.

1st - I think it's awesome so many creative & adventurous ppl are out there helping with this stuff..thanks to all!

I don't want to speak for others, but some may be confused by this line in the DIY instructions: 'Click on settings for the IPHONE THEME and under the icon tab i have these settings'. The reference to an 'IPhone Theme' may be causing the ?s on the theme settings.

My ? regarding this is that I can't find how to get to all of the settings that are referenced.

-Icon Size
-Icon name enable
-Icon name at bottom
-Click on the margins tab
etc.

I can't find any of these..any chance settings windows are being cutoff on a 700wx??

I think I'm going to redraw some of the main dialer to resemble Pauly A's layout a bit more, and maybe attempt a port at an e-ten dialer one (so smartdial is available, personally smart dial annoys me)

well, after some 'googling', I found out why we 700 owners may be having some issues (at least I was). The original cLaunch prog was not designed for the square screen.

However, I found the attached over @ XDA Developers (I think vijay made it). If you have cLaunch installed, uncheck it from your Today settings, copy this file to the \Windows directory (you will be asked if you want to copy over the one already there, say yes). Then, re-check cLaunch in your Today settings.

When you hit Options for cLaunch, you will now see more buttons at the bottom, with the last row being 'Settings','Options' and 'About' - I think that's the order.

Now you should be able to follow the instructions earlier in this thread.

EDIT: I get the following buttons now, "Add, Edit, Delete, Cut, Copy, Paste, Select All, Up, Down," The last three are cut off but I can access them. They appear to be "Settings, About(?), and Today Screen(?).

Ok looks like yall got sone nice looks going there, what I want to know is hows the, or is there, any slow downs on the today screen. I don't like to use launch programs on the today screen to much on my apache, so any apache owners got this running

Dose it slow down the reaction times at all

First off thanks to everyone for answering questions, etc. That's what makes this community great.
Secondly, I played around with iphone this weekend and though I really like its capability, etc. I'm stuck on having a today screen with just a bit more information at my fingertips.
As you can see by the screen shot I'm using iphone more as a launch for programs. I've noticed no slow downs, etc.
I just love my 700wx and all the tweaking that can be done to it.

My phone has harware buttons for PIE, Email, wireless manager, and voice dial, so I didn't add them to the screen. I like the clean look anyway, plus I can keep my appts on the screen

id like to say thanx to everybody that put their input in here for help. im just have a few questions that im having trouble with...

1) is there a way to get the device lock shortcut or anyway to get it to work just by clicking on one of the iPhone icons? and

2) my other question is to see if anybody has a windows theme that will work when in landscape mode because the ones i have dont work just when in potrait.

thanx any help is appreciated
