Sound Theme: WM Crossbow Sounds

Attached is a zip containing a handful of the upcoming WM "Crossbow" system sounds.

You'll want to place the zip on your device and extract the files. Then copy most over to \Windows using PHM or Resco since they are system/ROM files (you'll want to overwrite them).

You can rename the Ring-WindowsMobile.wma to Ringer or something. I put mine in my \Windows\Rings folder. It's a sweet ringer.

Overall, these are just a couple sounds but they do sound better then what we have now.

I tried installing these sounds as stated the new ringer sounds great. BUT this morning my phone rang and there was no sound, so I checked the volume and it was on full. I checked the ringer was selected and it was, so I did a soft re-set. no joy, so I opted back to the default Treo ringer and there was still no sound. Now I have a phone that won't RING. How can I fix this without having to do a hard reset, (can you hard reset a Treo ?? and if so do you need to reinstall the phone software??)

Its a recent install that's ur problem more than likey, these sounds wouldn't cause any issues....ur simply replacing with different sounds.

thanks for replying so quickly, I did install jpl dialer and PaulyA_E-Ten_Vista.cab last night, but they didn't seem to doo anything to my dialler pad and I couldn't find the software in the phone so I've deleted the cab files. I've just noticfed that when I answer a call for a second a dial pad that looks like the skin I installed pop's up and then goes again could it be that I have a dial pad app thats defaulted my ringer to mute when a call comes in. I can't uninstall it as I can't see it. I'm a bit stumped.
