How long does YOUR VX6700 Battery last?
Okay. We've had these handy little necessities of life for well over a year now, and have loaded, unloaded, reloaded, rebooted, formatted and started all over again... at least a dozen times or more. We've tried a wide assortment of different themes - ranging from the mundane "out of the box" to the Star Trek communicator (there are surely just as many folks out there who have uttered the Verizon mantra, "Can you hear me NOW...?!" that have ordered your phone to "beam me up, Scotty!") to the ever-so-trendy iPhoney and the most recent iCube variants.
We've all noted that unless we turn OFF the programs we have opened - or were using whilst still plugged-in to the docking station... and connected to our PCs... ActiveSync will put a serious demand on our battery life - thus reducing what actual TALK TIME we have to our disposal. After all... this IS A PHONE, too...! Kudos to Simon Jin... the good fellow who created IBE's Lite Bar... which allows us to not only exit a running program - and return to same... but actually shut it down... extending said battery life by a few needed minutes! So, as we enter a new year... faced with the option to either buy yet another discount brand extended-life battery via ebay - or purchase an OEM version directly from Verizon, Sprint or AudioVox... I ask you to ponder and share your thoughts... ·WHAT PROGRAMS ARE YOU RUNNING? ·WHAT KIND OF BATTERY DO YOU HAVE (standard vs. long life)? ·HOW LONG A BATTERY LIFE DO YOU HAVE - BETWEEN CHARGES? ·HOW MANY BATTERIES DO YOU HAVE/USE/CYCLE THROUGH? ·WHERE DO YOU BUY YOUR VX6700 BATTERIES... and... HOW MUCH DID YOU PAY FOR THEM? As they say, "if you don't ask - you may never know"... and, there are a bunch of us out there that use these handy little extensions of our daily lives that will surely find your replies worthy and informative reading! So, share...! Be well, and may the BEST of the New Year be with you and your loved ones! Stay safe.
