Hi guys as you can see I'm new to this site, new to the forums, and new to smartphones in general. Now that I have the Touch now I'm wondering what took me so long to get on the wagon. As I have scanned the site looking for info, and trying not to sound dumb I have found references to many programs to use for my phone to change themes and customize the look overall. My problem though is I'm not really finding anything that will tell a newbie what he should be using and what those tools do. Can anyone give me a list of what I can use and what those items will do for me? or even if someone can point me elsewhere that would be great. I am getting lots of info from looking through the posts just not sure what those things do.

I don't think I want to do any ROM mod's just because I'm not ready for that yet, but I would like to change the look of my Touch. Any help would be nice. Thanks
