**IMPORTANT** **IMPORTANT** **IMPORTANT**
**Important WA3 and WAD Install Instructions**

1) Save the installation of WA3 and WAD LAST after your application installs to avoid any
install conflicts.

2) Install WAD first, and THEN Wisbar Advance 3. Currently a bug issue with theme selection
is present if installed backwards in the "traditional way".

3) Copy both WA3 iPhone themes (light and dark) to *root*/Program Files/Lakeridge/Wisbar Advance 3/

4) Copy all WAD iPhone Portrait and Landscape theme folders (leopard, light, dark) to *root*/Themes/Desktop

5) Goto WA3 Menu options and set Accordingly....
a) Plugins, Desktop Checked.
b) Softkeys, leave everything except check "hide softkeys"
c) Start Menu, (this is all optional to you) check off "show Icons, show desktop, show
settings, expand settings, precache icons, hw keyboard maps to startbutton, close
start panel after launch, overlap taskbar
d) Startup, check "run after soft reset", set delay to 0 seconds
e) Task Panel, choose as desired, uncheck show softkeys
f) Taskbar Assignments Tab

Close/OK - visible - right
Custom 1 - Tap - visible - right
Custom 1,2,3,4,Home, Menu, Minimize, Network - NOT visible
Phone - tap/hold - Cascading Start Menu/Tasks Panel - visible - left
Rotate, SIP, Start Menu, System Notifications - NOT visible
Volume - Tap/Hold - builtin volume bubble/toggle mute - visible - right
Order Tab
Right aligned icons in order, Clock, custom 1, volume, batt, close/ok
Left aligned icons in order, Phone
Clock Tab
One Line, h:mm tt, MM/dd, visible
Title/Tasks Tab
Both unchecked
Others Tab
Everything unchecked except "display the actual" and "rotate the screen"
g) Tasks, check "skin wait cursor"

*** NOTE ** NOTE ***
You can mix and match themes as necessary but my proposed selections are..
iPhone Dark combined with either WAD Leopard or Dark
iPhone Light combined with WAD Light

h) WAD Theme, select your choice of portrait theme in the portrait tab, select your choice of landscape theme
in the landscape tab. WA3 Theme, install both iphone light and dark for WA3 themes and choose withever you want.
Feel free to delete the stock *_portrait and *_landscape folders in /Windows/themes/desktop to save space
i) User Menu, uncheck "display near softkeys"

6) Everything should be setup and installed appropriately, you may need to go into WAD
settings and choose cleartype.

7) goto the weather page, if weatherpanel isnt showing up, hold down the stylus, choose
NEW/today plugin/ and select weatherpanel. Adjust options as necessary.

You may need to right hold on some icons, choose properties, and point to the right executables
in your start or programs group just in case the buttons dont work off the bat.

I think I can deal with killing the processes each time I restart my touch.

I tried looking in the windows/startup folder and couldn't find anything that showed these programs.

However I might do this found on xda by noonski:

And you could also try

HKLM(orHKCU)\Software\OEM\TFLOSettings
And set EnableCube to 0 to kill it from coming upon Swipe.

Pathogen, did that work for you? I tried it also but it did not eliminate the biotouch.exe after a restart

Re: iPhone Theme by Torx-Tevelopment

I'm not going to do it because I like to use the cube to call people.

Most of the fixes they have in that thread dont' seem to apply to the Vogue for some reaosn.

Oh i see; i setup a new virtual page in Torx's theme with photos to make phone calls - lets you have more "photo contacts" to dial from...

by the way, which dialpad are you using - I am suffering with Narg's

Re: iPhone Theme by Torx-Tevelopment

I use narg's as well. WHat don't you like about it? The only problem I have is you can't redial with the actual green button, hell the green button doesn't work at all and sometimes the call button doesn't work on the touch dialer.

How is your battery life?

Instruction oh how you did this. I can make the page but making the photos the right size and linking them to call is where im lost.

The lack of redial and smartdial is not a big deal...the problem I have is that it keeps locking up my Touch - always locks up when I switch from Keypad to Call Status. I tried to delete Nargs and go back to the original HTC dialpad, but it comes up with a white screen and some of the buttons are invisible -- they are there, but actually clear.

Battery life is really good - usu. go a whole day with many calls, emails, SMS, and PIE usage.

Hopefully we will soon see a better option for our dialpad

I don't really have that problem with Nargs, seems to be fine on my touch. When I uninstall it still shows the default dial pad just fine. No lockups or anything

HOWEVER my battery life is GODAWFUL. I made maybe 45 minutes of phone calls today with 22 text messages about about an hour and a half worth of Opera/IExplorer usage and I'm down to 20% battery life.

Only had my touch for about 2 and a half weeks. I'm using Torx's Iphone theme with WAD WA3. I'm showing 17 processes with 33.2 MB of memory usage out of 105.2MB on my touch.

Should I take the phone to a sprint store?
