My favorite game, though not story based is Multi Championship No Limit Texas Hold 'Em from RealDice. There is a big user base, so there are always people online playing. Check it out at realdice.com. It's the best $20 I've spent on a PPC game.

Forgot to mention SCUMM games. If you like/or can get a hold of any point and click DOS games like Day of the Tentacle, Indiana Jones:The Fate of Atlantis, Sam and Max, etc. They work perfectly well on the Touch.
I'm playing Simon the Sorcerer 2 right now. The emulator is free. You just need to do som "searching" for the games. http://www.scummvm.org/ |

Snails was mentioned as being something very similar to Worms.
I'd recommend trying Worms itself.. works awesome! http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=34092 |
