Please beta(alpha?)-test my game!
Hello everybody!
I'm for quite some time now working on my own turn-based PocketPC game called "PoRoBa". More accurately, it's a game-framework, but whatever. I'm a student and have just access to one PocketPC - my own old MDA III. So, I've not had the chance to test it on any other hardware yet. Therefore, here's my plea: Please go to http://www.poroba.com/ , give the game a spin and tell me your impressions - even if it's just "didn't work". Any comments here or in my shoutbox are highly appreciated! And since this is a technical forum, some details: PoRoBa was written completely in C# and relies just on .Net 2.0 and GAPI. Everything from there was exclusively written by me (rendering, blending, image-handling, compressions, text-rasterization, serializations, ...). And no, there is no sound or music Thank you, KoMaXX |

Re: Please beta(alpha?)-test my game!
Thank you very much!
It's nice to hear, that it runs without major reconstructing of the code Well, and spelling errors were bound to happen, since I'm German and learned most of my English from American tv and programming-tutorials I've written also a content-creation-editor for the framework where anyone can change content quickly. But I'm afraid the learning-curve for this software is pretty steep - so, it's most probably easiest if I correct all errors myself. Error-lists are highly welcome |

Re: Please beta(alpha?)-test my game!
Thank you for the good news!
So far, noone ran into major problems to get it running - that's a relief! Is anyone furthermore having fun? Why / why not? (I know, it's a tough question why one enjoys something - or not) |
