Touch pro 2 Vs Touch pro

I currently have the touch pro and getting the touch pro 2 this week. I would like to know what are the major difference between the two. I did a phone compare and in my opinion not much of a major differ.
http://www.phonescoop.com
here is the link of what i did to compare the 2.
i dont understand how they can come up with something as a part 2 and do little upgrade to make it a true difference and slap on a huge price on it. I understand the difference between the touch pro and touch pro 2 from the software end and a few little tweaks to the phone but seriously. But i would like to know from those who had the 2 what are the big difference that makes this phone worth it compared to the touch pro. Does the battery last longer? does it lag like the touch pro would do. Any comments or suggestions or ideas that would make this phone good and last long would be great??

FYI..touch pro was a nice and great phone, very attractive, but from what i have read it was not the best phone HTC had.

Larger screen, way better battery life, seems snappier, 3.5mm head phone jack, tilt screen, better build quality.........etc.

Re: Touch pro 2 Vs Touch pro

I guessing that despite the same hardware specs as the TP2, the speed of the same hardware, primarily the flash chips for storage, are faster than what they were in the original TP, lending to the increase in speed people seem to have compared to the original, along with what apristel noted as well. Also, I'm sure that the software has undergone more tweaking to make it faster and more bug free as well.

Re: Touch pro 2 Vs Touch pro

What about the GPS chips? Are the the same? does the TP2 have the same GPS lag that the TP has? By lag I am meaning where it only updates GPS data every 15 meters or so.
