Hero or tp2? Can't decide... Help please

I can figure out if I should get the touch pro 2 or the hero. I've had the mogul and now the touch pro. I I'm starting to get tired of windows mobile phones but I'm debating trying it one more time with the touch pro two or migrating to the android os with the hero. I've had about 7 different moguls and 3 different pros all of which seem to operate well for the first month or two and then start to lag n get buggy after. The reviews for the tp2 are good so far but I'm still sort of cautious. I'm not big on the business end but I'm a heavy texter, surfer and media user. What's your opinion on the pros and cons?

Re: Hero or tp2? Can't decide... Help please

From what I've read on the Hero and my experience with the TP2 I'd say that the latter is the better phone (TP2.) It has a bigger screen. If you look at the dimensions of the TP2 alongside the Hero you'll see that although the Hero lacks a hardware keyboard it's only slightly smaller and thinner that the TP2. For someone who is a heavy texter I think you'll really appreciate the spacious keyboard of the TP2 over anything onscreen. ... My 2.5 cents...

Here's a link to the post in the Hero thread where the two phones are shown side by side. This should help you make a decision.

HTC Hero requires one of those anything plus plan. Pro 2 will work with Sero, nuff said.

Yup, also confirmed this with Sprint. Looks like I'll be going with the TP2.
