Re: Touch Pro2 or The Hero? (Sprint)
I try daily to adjust to the screen keyboard and frankly hate it. After just so much frustration I slide the TP2 keyboard out and use it. Another factor to consider - is the software there that you need?

Re: Touch Pro2 or The Hero? (Sprint)
Man I been trying to get this same question answered. I feel like need my keyboard but the andriod os looks sooooooo smooth. It's just look overall more fun. I'm cautious about getting another winmo phone after having a mogul and tp1 but I don't kno if I can do without NO keyboard on the hero so I'm torn... But the tp2 reviews seeem really good so far

Re: Touch Pro2 or The Hero? (Sprint)
HTC Hero has a mutli-touch keyboard. Windows Phones only allow one key pressed at a time.
might need to try it in person and swipe through some twitter pages to see how well the HTC layout mutli touch keyboard really feels. Looks great IMO |

Re: Touch Pro2 or The Hero? (Sprint)
Yeah it really all boils down to the keyboard for me. like ive had the touch "vogue" And it wasnt all that bad to not have a keyboard. but thats why i switched to the touch pro.. But i think im gonna have to have a hands on experience to make this decision.. But thank you guys so much for the help! Ugh i hate this... confusion suck!!

Re: Touch Pro2 or The Hero? (Sprint)
Omething to help decide is that the on screen kb on the tp or tp2 is resistive so you might somtimes have to hit it a few times and press harder where as the the screen on the hero is capasitive and will be more intuitive and like these guys said it's also multi touch kb so even better.

Re: Touch Pro2 or The Hero? (Sprint)
in my own personal experience, the hardware keyboard on the Pro is what is keeping me on a minimal mechanical device (device) less moving parts less can go wrong with the build quality.
On my Touch Pro the ribbon that connects the screen tore, and killed the screens ink somehow, keyboard was definably a problem, and i treated this Touch Pro like a king in its Seidio innocase and holster. Never abused the slider mechanism at all. Lasted until this September, one month shy of its one year birthday I understand the build quality was upped on the Touch Pro 2 but im now skeptical on the sliding tilting mechanism |
