Curious if anyone knows if you can tether with the Hero like you can with a WM device (with the registry hack) on Sprint?

There are apps available for it, but I believe they were pulled from the Android Market.

Google pulled the all tethering apps, then restored them for all but Tmobile customers. That being said I'm sure it won't be that hard to do, being open source I'm sure you could google it and root in very quickly.
What I don't understand, I thought that if you "agree" to put the google image on the back of your phone, doesn't that mean you also agree not to ban any application? Like there is android open source phones, then google android phones. The branding difference is suppose to mean something.
