should i get a touch pro?

i have any oppurtunity to get a touch pro in good shape for 175. i can prolly sell my diamond for 150, so it wont cost me to much to get one. however ive never really used a physical ketboard so im not sure if i would use this one. im kind of in that phase where i want something new right now, and at the moment its a phone. however i dont want to get a pro and come to find out my diamond was better. any problems with the touch pro i should be aware of? whats this community think i should do?

I say unless you want a hardware keyboard or a removable storage card then no.
Stick with your Diamond. IMO

touch pro if you like expandable memory, keyboard is hit or miss.

Re: should i get a touch pro?

The touch pro having the expandable memory would be enough to make me change if I were you, but I like to keep a lot of music and movies in it to pass time. The physical keyboard has never really been all that desirable to me cause I use my phone one handed a lot while I'm doing other things, but at least the TP still has the onscreen KB too. Is there a difference in the camera? I guess in the end it's really just a personal choice. I think it might be worth you're while to wait just a little longer, after the TP2 and Diamond 2 are more widely released you'll probably see a nice price drop on the original TP.

Re: should i get a touch pro?

I think the diamond is a bit faster, but like others say, physical kb, and expandable mem slot is great ( unless you dont need anything over 4gb)

Re: should i get a touch pro?

I currently have both. Got the TP in Novemeber, and the Diamond about a week ago and switched over.

I'm thinking about getting rid of my TP because of the bulk. I text quit a bit, so I really liked the keyboard, but the TP is a big phone in your pocket, whereas the Diamond is lighter and more compact.

4gb is plenty of storage for me, so that's not a big issue (especially since I only had a 2gb SD Card in my TP).

I am going to be upping myself to the TP2 when it comes out and ultimately dumping my Diamond and TP though.

Ultimately, if you're happy with the Diamond...don't switch. Wait until something better comes out (TP2, Diamond 2, Hero, whatever it might be).
