I might be willing to switch to the diamond 2. Hmmmm. I will probably stay where I am at until wm7 and tegra/snapdragon chipsets. Choices choice. I could easily see myself going for either of these, maybe a pre or the hero.

Because it is new and the os looks fairly nice. Honestly hte odds of me getting a pre are slim to none but I would consider it. I may thin about getting one for my wife. She is still in a Vogue but chances are I will just give here my tp if I pull the trigger on another device.

Does the GSM version work for sprint? since is wcdma right?

GSM should not work for sprint. GSM is AT&T and i believe the Alltell network. Sprint and VZW use the CDMA.

Also, to get a TP2, i'll have to see where the chef's go. If a lot of them are moving onto the TP2, i may have to get one for the bigger screen and updated roms.

I tried out a pre at best buy yesterday and I was impressed by the screen. It didn't even look real. I didn't get to mess with it much but it was pretty cool.

GSM is ATT. Didn't Verizon buy Alltell? I think they are CDMA.

There are no CDMA versions of the TP2 out today.

Alltel was CDMA before the Verizon thing. T Mobile and AT&T are the two big gsm providers here.
