best deal?

i want to either get a new htc touch 6900 or a new htc diamond. ive spent weeks trying find a 6900 with no luck but did find a diamond for sale at walmart for $99 with rebates. my question is if anyone knows where i can get a 6900 and if $99 is the best deal out there for the diamond?

my personal opinion, both devices are very good, but the Diamond is better. It has much more ram, memory, vga display, much faster processor, tf3d, better built in browser, etc. 99.00 bucks is a very good deal for this device as well. The touch is a little smaller but not much. you will get alot more for your money with the Diamond. Hope this helps.

Listen to Riley ... the Diamond is a superior device. I found the Walmart offer online, and it obviously requires a new 2-year subscription. That said ... it's a pretty good buy for $99 after rebate.

thanks everyone. the phone if for my gf. we actually couldnt find a diamond at the mall, best buy, or radio shack for her to see. she really likes to touch but we cant find it anywhere to buy so we'll prob get the diamond. i have the touch pro and like it a lot better than my old mogul. she's just worried about size, she likes small flip phones but wants something she can use internet and play games on

ebay, craiglist, or even the bargain trader on this site. Im getting a Diamond for about $200 off the Bargain trader at the bottom of the forum.

do you think if i got this from walmart that sprint would allow me to change the plan to sero? I already have a sero acct and was told they could mirror it for another plan on my acct. i dont want to be stuck with another acct.

Once you sign up for an account through a third party ... it's very difficult to get Sprint to do anything. If it were me, I would first go to Sprint directly, and see if they can match you up with something similar to your SERO account. Who knows, with Sprint you never know until you ask. I would, however, try to escalate up the food chain just a bit ... might have better luck there.

did sprint chat and they said to buy the phone and then theyd see what they could do but i decided not to even try. im sure i might have been able to convince one of the reps to change the line to match my sero but didnt want to go through the hassel. i decided to just wait until sprint offers the phone cheaper, should be soon since the diamond2 and tp2 are comin out. does anyone know when they mite start discounting the diamond?
