Is it wrong I like the BlackBerry Storm?

Seriously, I just got one in the mail today from a friend who works at Verizon so I got hooked up on a plan for $20 and so far i'm pretty impressed with the BlackBerry Storm. I haven't touched my TP all day because i've been playing around with the BlackBerry Storm....

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the TP and all of its Apps, but the Storm is just so cool...

It handles my music about 60x better than Windows Mobile and even with the lower resolution, the screen is amazingly sharp and HUGE!

This thing actually came with an 8GB MicroSD card. Talk about generous....and has 1GB of onboard memory.

It's a decent attempt by blackberry to implement touch screen...
Two guys in my company have them and they have issues if they don't clear out their emails regularly....

I just don't like the available software...

That storm will be a storm with the same software no matter what you do...
If Mighty Mike doesn't sleep tonite I might have a whole new operating system by morning on my TP! LOL

I looked at it when they came in and they were really big considering the size of my TP, Omnia and iPhone...

And I simply hate touch screen keyboards!

But it's a good first attempt by BB to make a touch screen phone.

Funny thing is most hardcore blackberry guys hate it! Go Figure!

Doesn't the storm have that weird touch screen that moves when you click it....alomst like its on a center pivot point.....eeekk!

My brother, a die hard crackberry user had one for a while and learned to hate it. He had issue with the speed and stability of the OS. His biggest gripe was how the phone would switch between portrait and landscape unexpectedly and sometimes be really slow to switch back to portrait. He also thought the gap around the screen collected way too much pocket gunk and might eventually lead to the device breaking. He returned it for a Bold and is much happier. OTH, if you like it, it's a great device! Enjoy!

I've heard terrible things about the storms clicky screen and how hard it is to type with it. I'm waiting for the TP2 as thats probably the best comparison to the Storm.

This is just all bad... . From what I have heard the Storm is a huge failure for BB. They may have sold a lot of them, but the return rate is outrageous and as well as the failure rate. The weird click touch screen is cause for most of it. A friend of mine works for VZ and he used to be with us (Sprint) where he had a Mogul, I told him to stick with us and upgrade to the TP but he crossed over to the dark side and went to VZ with the Storm and he had to have it replaced 3 times within the first 5 weeks!! Not good...

Its not wrong to like the BB Storm because we all [and you yourself] knows that you always love your HTC TP.

The only thing to like over our touch pro is the sound. The speaker on the storm is WAY louder and clearer then ours. Would NEVER give up my Touch Pro for the storm though!
