Re: Sick of the treo 800w.. Should I get the htc touch pro??
Hi,
I had the 800w and loved it - mine was rock solid. However, I'm also obsessed with new phones, so decided to move to the Touch Pro. It's a phenomenal device. Its main advantages are the larger screen and video out (which I use much more than I thought), but it's not as one-handed in its use. Overall, I never regretted the switch. |

Yea but why should I get it? Do you guys have many problems with it?

Re: Sick of the treo 800w.. Should I get the htc touch pro??
Hi again,
No problems to speak of. I had some glitches at first, because I tinkered with it using Advanced Config, which isn't really for CDMA phones. I then hard reset, and committed to not tweaking it any more than necessary - no problems since. I'm convinced that many problems reported on any high end phone are a result of over-tweaking. Definitely worth buying! |

Re: Sick of the treo 800w.. Should I get the htc touch pro??
I'm in the same boat as the OP. Several hard/soft resets on my 800w and finally it bricked on me when I needed it the most. I was hoping by now that the Pre would be out but I think I might just switch to the Touch Pro. Are there any other phones even close to as cool as these two? Palm Pro? Or maybe something else from HTC I can use on Sprint?

Had 800 for couple month and then switched to TP. never regraded: Bigger screen, better keyboard, better sounds, smaller device, more options and if you into ROM, well you can't beat PPC Geek for great bunch of creative and smart "hackers"
