biggest scam ever. If I setup my phone to download files to my storage card then transfer them to my computer, I can move just as much data as if I tethered 8 gig files at a time. It's just another way to squeeze money out of you, like 20 cent per minute call forwarding (companies like tmobile and at&t offer free call forwarding.)

Well, I don't see it that way in my case since I'm already paying for unlimited data. I don't know how this works for people who aren't on a plan like that though.

Because you are supposed to pay to use your phone as a modem. When you say you are paying for unlimited data, thats for use on the handset, not as a modem.
