Re: Palm Pre: How many are considering a switch?
I realy don't have a problem with WM, I have a Touch, personily I think I will wate until I realy, actualy know how the Pre works, right now all we know is what we have been told, and that is all sales hype, also I hear a lot of people saying how they just want an OS that works out of the box, and in the second sentence they talk about what aps will be available in the near future, whats that all about.
In my opinion it is the third pary aps that make any OS cool, WM works out of the box, and so did Palm OS, but they werent cool until I added my 3rd party aps. I will probibly not be going to the Pre since WM is cool. Terry |

Re: Palm Pre: How many are considering a switch?
I'll be sticking with the Touch Pro. Possibly upgrading to the Touch Pro 2 someday. Personally I love WinMO. Saying I never have a problem would be inaccurate but they are few and far between

Re: Palm Pre: How many are considering a switch?
granted i have a diamond and not a pro, and i probably won't be smashing it either, but i am really looking forward to the pre. It seems to be more oriented to my user habits and has more of the capabilities I'm looking for in a phone.
just my 2 cents |

Re: Palm Pre: How many are considering a switch?
Well, my thing is that no matter what kind of phone you get none of them are perfect. It's always going to be something wrong or something is going to go wrong with your phone. Now granted, it may have better feathers than another phone, but pretty soon the feathers on that new phone be it the palm pre or something else, someone will find that app. for it and soon you'll be able to put that same app. that the palm pre has and add it to your other phone and make your phone be it a TP, DIAMOND or whatever do the same thing, cause we have people here and other places that are good like that. When new phones come out, most ot the time there is a catch.
I'M JUST SAYIN.....LOL **AMIRA** |
