Sprint TP vs VZW TP

I have sprint, my good friend has VZW... we both got TP phones because he always wants me to make ROMs for his...

You can sorta see the difference here, the screen on my Sprint one is much more bright and much sharper than the VZW one. Also mine has 288mb RAM, his has 192mb.

I called VZW and asked why, they said they choose to opt out of the RAM and couldn't explain the screen. Also VZW charges more and sends less accessories.

I seen the thread to put a Spint TP on VZW, but how legal is that? Trying to help my friend out here. What about the Alltel one? Is it more like Sprint's and able to be used on VZW?

Just looking for some answers because I am being asked these things.

Having a Sprint TP on VZW is 100% legal. Being against their terms of service is another story. Most of the time if you need support on it, you just have to play dumb when you call them. Be prepared to jump through hoops to get the roaming triangle to go away. You must use a hacked PRL at the moment. Other than that, it is actually pretty easy.
