Re: Opinion: Omnia vs Current Verizon WM Devices

I use the mouse and the dpad setting. I switch between the two so much that I placed an icon on my today screen to access that setting application.

The mouse is especially useful for filling in web forms on Opera or PIE.

I downloaded an app that switches it, put a shortcut in my start menu, and then assigned a hard key to it

in settings buttons scroll close to the top to see it <rotation>
in regard to the mouse, i hate using other people`s phone cause i always treat the d-pad as a mouse!

Re: Opinion: Omnia vs Current Verizon WM Devices

Any comments about screen resolution and picture quality? I have it is not as good as others out there. I just want to make sure I will be happy with it coming from the XV6900.

Re: Opinion: Omnia vs Current Verizon WM Devices

I never used a 6900 so I cannot compare. For me the resolution is just fine and the quality is fine. Will it be a VGA? No. But it won't drain your battery like one either of course.

I watch movies on mine and I think they look great!

Re: Opinion: Omnia vs Current Verizon WM Devices

I would just like to say I tried Touch Pro and ended up getting Omnia. The screen is smaller on touch pro so it is harder to look at. I do not think Omina is quite as good as I phone or blackberry Storm or Touch pro but it isnt bad at all and I feel the phone is better in so many other ways. I have Iphone. I tried Storm and touch Pro Had both over a week. Storm was not very good for me. Verizon touch pro was kind of junky to me.I really like my omnia and am keeping it. It will do manything the I Phone can do and I think it does more in many ways. Hope this helps.
