Re: looking for a new phone.

I went from the treo 755p to the touch. Have not tried the diamond yet. But, once you get used to the on-screen keyboard, it blows the treo away - even for one-handed use. And the Touch will be inexpensive - and much better than the samsung. You could try and play with a Diamond, I';m sure its just as easy to use. I have the Touch Pro, and only slide out the keyboard when I have a long email or report to type, otherwise the onscreen works great for me.

Re: looking for a new phone.

My question, I have an upgrade looming, and Alltel offers the Diamond and Touch Pro... what's the differences? I read up about both on the HTC website and the real difference seemed to be a slide out keyboard and flash ram... or something like that. Is that it? does the Diamond really not have a slide out keyboard? Cause it's about the same weight and size... Any ideas?

Re: looking for a new phone.

never mind, found a whole topic about my question. this subject shouldn't be in "Off topic" -> "Phone comparison" ... it should be on the main page or something, not hidden in Off Topic. Just my opinion.

the Diamond really has no hard qwerty keyboard, all touch screen, less ram and no SD slot

Re: looking for a new phone.

i don't know if you want to spend your money on ebay for the i830 if you like palm phone i would stick to them and wait for the 850 like it was said previously or go to the mogul which was an easier conversion for me. i had the 700wx and it was so easy switch for me. i would look into the mogul =D>
