Re: I need help. Dont be mad!
one thing is are you closing the programs after your done with them? alot of first time mistakes happen with winmo phones, and one of those is thinking that clicking x closes the program. unless you set it in the settings to do that all it does is minimise the application you were on so maybe all you need to do is go into the task manager and close the extra apps you are running. I also recommend powercycling the phone at least once a day. but I am with the rest of the people saying that this phone is really quite fast.

Re: I need help. Dont be mad!
I just got rid of my Curve for a Touch Pro. Personally I don't think the Pro is slow at all (although slower than my custom rom Diamond that I just returned), coming from a Treo 700w, I seriously did not expect anyone to say the Pro is slower. I used to work in a Palm shop and all I heard were people complaining about their 700 and 750ws. Do a hard reset, do a couple of tweaks, and have that hold you over til the kitchen gets cooking. In a month tops, the Pro is going to be an absolute monster.

Re: I need help. Dont be mad! Touch Pro vs BB +?
The 800w is very very responsive, more so than the diamond or pro, even with the beastly amount of memory the diamond has. That said, the pro is still pretty responsive, kind of slow when sliding out and can lag sometimes, but is still reasonably fast.
Yes, all sprint windows mobile phones now have picture mail in the form of a downloadable .cab update. I personally like the curve much better, i think it looks the best and has the best formfactor+keyboard combination, but the blackberry data plans kill the deal for me ($30) |
