What's your next PPC going to be?

With the plethora of excellent upcoming (and readily available) gadgetry...one has to wonder, which device has gathered the most 'upgrade anxiety'? While still with my Mogul, I couldn't wait for the Diamond to arrive...and now that I have the Diamond, i am eagerly awaiting the Touch Pro. And I have a feeling that when I get the Pro, i'll be feigning for the HD. I guess I now qualify as a PPC Junkie.

What I'm curious to know, however, is what everyone else is anticipating. Which PPC are you planning to get, and which one do you have now?

I have a 3 yr old Apache (running WM 6.1), and I'm finally going to upgrade to the Touch Pro. Hopefully that will last me another 3 years.

Without Helmi's work and the work of so many here at ppcgeeks, there's no way my Apache would've lasted this long.

im going for the HD!!!! but no news on releases here or carriers but if anything, im getting the pro then

I had a i870 then got the 700wx, then Mogul, and now Diamond. When the Touch Pro comes out I am getting that too. I won't get anxious for the HD until I find out it is coming to a carrier for my area.

Jason, may I ask why youre switching from the Diamond to the Pro?

probably the keyboard as that is why most of us are holding out for/going to get the pro

Wow. I think it's great that you can stick to a device for that long. I, on the hand, have been 'upgrading' almost every 6 months. Its ridiculous, I know. But what can I say, I love my gadgets!

Right now, I'm really torn between the Diamond and the Pro. I love everything about the HTC Touch Pro, but as I am with Sprint, we will definitely be getting some kind of altered version. Only thing im buggin about with the Pro is its thickness compared to the Diamond (I usually have small, tight pockets). This is, of course, versus the Diamond's lack of an SD slot. I can manage w/o the hardware keyboard. And now as Im writing this, I realize I can pretty much live with the 4G internal card as well. But damn....the video out on the Pro is very enticing.

I think I need HELP! Any feedback by the members of this great community is encouraged and would definitely be appreciated.

Edit: The pleading tone of my last sentence being directly oriented above my signature seemed too contradictory...so, I'll just add some space between the two by BS'ing a little bit like so.....

That would be correct. I also don't like the fact that there is no expandable memory slot on the Diamond. I only have a 4GB card, but will eventually get a 8GB or maybe a 16GB card.

Well, as I said, without PPCGeeks, my Apache would've turned into a Mogul some time ago.

The lack of the SD slot on the Diamond is a killer for me. I have a 6 GB card in my Apache right now and it's over half full. If I got a Diamond, my storage would be nearly full on day 1. That's unacceptable.
