Re: Please Help Me! What Should I Do!!!
The iPhone would be a great step up for you! It has plenty of memory for your Hanna Montana and Jonas Brothers MP3s!
Turn off your GPS, make sure your bluetooth is not discoverable when on, and turn off IR. This will easily get you through the day.

Re: Please Help Me! What Should I Do!!!
Very interesting way to start another phone comparison thread. I will move this to the correct forum and edit the title so people don't get confused what you are really asking.

Re: Please Help Me! What Should I Do!!! 800w verses iPhone G3
I've found one of the biggest culprits of battery life is the IR beam defaulting to being on. It really sucks up the juice.
Now, my other comment for the OP is that I have the 800w and an iPod Touch. While I love my Touch, if it were the full fledged iPhone I would never consider switching over. I find the onscreen keyboard to be just okay for my taste. I can type so much more comfortably on my 800w and faster than I ever could on my Touch. The browsing is nicer on the Touch with the larger screen I'll admit. I will also watch movies on my Touch but wouldn't think about it on my small square 800w screen. Another reason I'd not switch is the App Store is still very buggy. I go to update my Apps and get a common error that a lot of people are seeing. I ultimately have to delete it from my device and resync, but even then I may have to try it repeatedly before it installs correctly. I don't have any problem at all updating or installing apps on my 800w. And, Sprint EVDO is so fast and reliable for me in KC. My work supplied AT&T Treo 750 isn't nearly as reliable for service. One handed capabilities is another feature that I love in the Treo line. I've yet to use a phone that is so geared for single handed operation. Finally, price plans. Sprint is pretty much unbeatable in the bang for the buck. |
