Recommendations on a phone please?

Hi all,

I currently have Verizon and an HTC Apache xv6700....and I *hate* the damn thing. I've placed many a kitchens on it, and I just can't seem to enjoy my phone in any way whatsoever. The main purpose of getting this phone was to use pocketputty, and it won't connect to an ssh server unless I pull up IE first, and it takes up to a minute, sometimes much longer, to connect.

With all that said, I'm getting a new job where a requirement is to get a phone with good ssh support. I'm a Network Admin, so having a phone that will allow me to remotely connect to machines is a must. I would even like to use Remote Desktop as well, although I could never get it to work properly on my Apache. I'm even game to jump carriers if I have to. I've looked at Sprint, AT&T, and Verizon's web sites, and I'm having a rough time deciding what phone to get. I was thinking of getting a BlackBerry Curve, but Verizon doesn't offer WiFi on their version.

Other phones I've seen are the xv6800 on Verizon's network, and then the HTC Mogul on Sprint's network.

Does anyone have any suggestions on a phone? Thank you tremendously in advance.

i work as a network admin, and definitely the mogul is the way to go. I personally have an HTC Touch/Vogue and love it.
