Does anyone have the IPHONE and would you recommend it. Im in the process of renewing my contract and thinking about getting the IPHONE any suggestions?

Go to an apple store and try it out, i would never make a purchase because someone said so.

^^^^ agreed....i have played with it many times and its a nice phone with the new sdk coming out it will be even better but it all depends on who you want to have as your service i personally don't like any other carriers prices but sprints so i would never get the iphone and actually activate it.

the only thing i think is really nice about the iphone, is the resolution.. its simply gorgeous, but the xperia 1 is going to be the god of phones once it hits the US, and please let it convert to CDMA

It has pros and cons.

You can't store pdfs for reading - something i do a great deal of on my WM phone. You can't add applications unless you jailbreak it. I've yet to see an application worth jailbreaking the phone to load.

And the Edge network is painfully slow.

I find I use it differently than my WM phone.

On WM I read techinical papers, go online, use the gps.

On the iPhone I'm listening to audio books, there are lots of free audio books and podcasts out there. Some times I watch Google Tech talks. And I use Google Reader a great deal on it.

Both phones are good for note taking, but you can't back up your iPhone notes. Both are good at pictures and neither has MMS, though I hear Sprint is working on MMS for WM phones.

I'd wait for the next iPhone - rumored to be coming soon.

I have had the iphone for 6 months and absolutely love it, but I can't afford to pay at&t's prices, so I am switching back to sprint. But the phone itself is awesome!

If you are a customer to AT&T then its very cheap, I just got one and I love it, and with the new update coming out it will be very very versatile!
