and i just hope i don't jump ship from a pocket pc to a treo like i did with my 6700, but hey... a new windows mobile treo would be something i would swap out with a mogul every now and then.

What are you running in the backround that you keep getting memory errors?

I have only seen the error once since I have had my phone on DCD's 3.0.1 and that was when I tried to launch skyfire at the same times as Opera Mobile.

lol i knew ur azz would show up....

im usually using a few programs at a time, there are a few that i keep in the background for the sake of speed. The thing is i have to close my essentials down just to start skyfire, or to use my camera, and that bugs the bejesus outta me, plus its a size factor as well. if i didnt work out as much, then i wouldnt be saying this, but im in the gym 5 out the 7 days of the week, and i would like to get something slimmer, with the same capabilities. I could just buy an ipod but what for when we have such powerful devices nowadays. Like i said ill be sacrificing alot but i think i would be somewhat happier with the touch. Yes, ill miss my wifi and keyboard and flash and GPS and rev.a, but life is all about sacrifices...lol

plus Palm based models are perfect for media (1.3 mp cam + 320x320) which is why i keep them around. higher resolution for better pics that are second to none bro.

I actually had that phone to. I like it for usability and all, it just wasnt enough for me, maybe cuz it was just a "treo"

wait til the next gen WM treo comes along with wifi, rev. A, and all that good stuff. it'll feel better to own one once again. zero moving parts = something that'll last you a lifetime.

I'm a gym rat too but i refuse to use my phone as my audio player except if i am using my bluetooth headphones. I have a collection of ipods though so I usually have that hooked up. I generally work out with my shuffle.

You can get a shuffle for under $60 and it is perfect for the gym. You can clip it anywhere as its the size of a postage stamp and it will hold like 500 songs which should be plenty for the gym.

If you want the ultimate set up you get yourself a touch and use it with YOUR MOGUL

and WMWifirouter and you have a a G3 iphone like me!

Does it really matter? I'm just surprised that this thread EVEN exists....

If a person wants to get a Touch or even an iphone I would wish them the best. The idea is to get a phone that suits them best... not getting them to stay with a Mogul.

Does it all matter to everyone that much that someone is getting a different phone? If you are sooo attached to a phone that you are emotionally down when someone else gets a different phone... hmmm there's something wrong with that picture.

I wish the OP the best with his new Touch.

jeez...you guys know my dumb azz computer doesnt like tethering for some stoopid reason, so that would mean no more wmwifirouter..damn..am i going insane or something?
