Not trying to rag on the Iphone, which is a very nice product. I'm just pointing out that there are other reasons to choose a phone than a well designed interface. |

i couldnt agree with you more... the mogul has potential to be perfect, but wth sprint the idea of perfect is non existant... i love the phone but hate the lag, but deal with it becuase not every phone out there lets you use Mr.T's voice to give you directions and allows you to do just about anything you can think of... oh yeah , and dont forget the "free" tethering....sprint sero, and no need to use iPune...that program drives me insane... Vote zune phone on sprint...heh Last edited by jourabchid; 03-06-2008 at 02:56 PM. |

Re: iPhone Vs. Mogul
IMO,
It's like OSX & Windows. Both are different, but you can't customize the iPhone to the degree you can with the Mogul...yes, it's more complicated, and has more problems, but you can do so much with it! ...and the iphone doesn't have GPS, just tower triangulation! |

Re: iPhone Vs. Mogul
There is no doubt in my mind that Iphone is nice, fancy, slick, comes with much storage space and have a nice bigger screen with more resolution.
But, for what I do.. Mogul is my firm choice. Sure, Mogul has a problem here and there and could use some improvements.. But, nothing gets me closer to my needs from a mobile device than a Mogul does. I can tether it to my laptop to use its internet access.. or even setup a wi-fi network to share the internet access.. or VPN into my home/work networks.. and Remote Desktop into my home/work computers.. I can listen to Sirius radio.. or watch YouTube or Google Video.. or Send/Receive corporate emails from a exchange server.. and it has a full QWERTY keyboard for easy IM, Email, and internet experience.. play emulator games with PocketGB or Final Burn.. The list goes on and on.. But most of all.. Mogul is soooooo extremely configurable, and there are tons of Apps and Utilities available to make your mogul the way you want it exactly. |
