HTC Evo 3d vs Motorola Photon

I am looking to upgrade my samsung moment to either the HTC Evo or the Motorola Photon. Can someone who's had experience with both help me out so that i can make my decision as to which one to buy.

Thanks in advance

I just don't want to spend more than $100.

Photon 4G has the tegra 2 processor which is superb and the direction I would go in no question. 1st generation 3D device I'll pass, but not to say the HTC 3D isn't a great.

Re: HTC Evo 3d vs Motorola Photon

Photon has had a load of issues from what I have heard and seen on the net.. Also root is a pain to get on it not many roms..
You are also stuck with some insane bloatware on it..

Every dog has his day lol.. But as for a phone I would roll to the EVO 3D lots of roms and fun... Samsung Epic Touch reminds me alot of the Iphone has a good camera but not my cup of tea... Good phone tho...

Thread moved to phone comparison.

I would get the 3d over the Photon imo.

I agree lol Check out the dev section of the photon and you will see what I was talkin about when it comes to dev support and other issues.. I like the camera it has but that was about it..

If I got one for free I may use it to just test with but as for paying 220 or 180 not worth it..

Cm9 on the photon is almost 100% what other roms do you need? Also it gets way way better reception.

Htc EVO 4 and EVO 3D are easy to root ! From wat I seen online Motorola photon is complicated to do all this things.. I had both EVO's and have to say I wouldn't trade them for any other..
