Re: Epic VS EVO

Super AMOLED display, 802.11n support, physical keyboard, included 16Gb microSD card, and, if the pictures are accurate, not much bigger than the Evo. Really thinking of returning my Evo although it would be a hard decision since I really love this device.

I don't know about the 16gb memory card included..but it also has either 8gb/16gb/32gb of ROM which you can add a memory card on to as well..so thats a whole lot of space!

The leaked specs point toward 8gb..but some memory could be reserved and its actually a 16gb..we will see..or maybe sprint will offer options for all 3 like they do with the iphone.

Well it depends on what you do with your phone...for example this phone has things like DLNA, plays 1080p, super amoled screen, bluetooth 3.0, and it natively plays back things like xvid, divx and etc....and on board ROM....also has way better battery life..and more powerful GPU

Yeah it won't be easy but watching some videos of it in action and the way it flys through the menus etc is how I wish my EVO was.

It does come with a 16gig card but I wonder what class it is..My money is on class 2 but thats okay I have a class 6 16gig ready for it!!

Well as stated, even if it is a class 2 card ,it matters not since it has a HUGE amount of ROM...and ROM will be faster then the SD card...so SD card would mostly be for backup stuff and misc storage.

Re: Epic VS EVO

Well, if the phone is gonna have a $450 price tag than I'll be getting this as well, then I'll have the 2 sweetest phones Sprint has to offer!

Re: Epic VS EVO

Weird..in the press release it shows "Memory: 1 GB ROM, 512 MB RAM" just noticed..but the demo unit had at least 8gb rom :/

I hope this is a mistake on Sprint part and not a cripple :/

Its aslo showing Bluetooth® 2.1 where it should be Bluetooth 3.0
