I flashed my tp2 to the official sprint 6.5 rom, man i can't believe how slow that phone is now that i've been playing with this snapdragon n1. I don't think most people realize how fast this phone is.

Yea, my wife still has the tp2 and I used it the other day and oh my god, even with nothing installed it was a nightmare, had to press so hard, the messaging freezes, and yes, just so slow....

I agree, if people only knew, this thing fly...

just because i want to know... is having an underclocked processor really that bad? Im assuming it means performance will be slow, am I right? Besides, you can overclock the processor if need be so Idk how its such a bad thing.

Re: HTC incredible vs N1

I'm just waiting for the news about the release...I'm getting tired of waiting though. Too many rumors going around about the date. To me, if the Incredible or Nexus were going to be released in the next week or so, we would have seen some advertising from Verizon by now.

correct and underclocked processor saves battery life but its not as snappy or fast, but for sure there will be custom roms that will be able to give back the processor speed just like with the moto droid. i'm not saying its a bad thing I just personally am done with flashing roms and rooting phones. I've become a master of flashing roms with winmo and it was more of a need then a want.

Same here, I got so sick of flashing. No need on this beauty, atleast for me. Staying stock....

Re: HTC incredible vs N1

I flashed the Cyan ROM, which gives you access to more RAM and feels faster than stock. Plus, if you go into Spare Parts you can set your animations to Fast, and OMG do the windows fly now!

Are you able to unroot / flash back...or have you voided your warranty?

On a slightly different note, I'm really really considering the Nexus One, but am concerned about how warranty / repairs are handled, especially as I'm in Canada!!!
