Why is TP2 better than iphone

who cares? if they like their iphone, great, if you like your tp 2, great....wtf?

the only way it would really matter is if you worked for or had stock in, one of the two co's. other than that, it's a preference thing. No more important than if I told you I like the color black better than red.

I would thank you 500x over if I could. Who fing cares if you have an Iphone, TP2, or a POS free phone? It's all in what you like. Tell them to lick your nuts and move on.

Because it's not as simple as that. If you read the other thread on the iPhone that I posted, you'll see that people are treated differently, especially professionally, based on what they are toting around. Honestly, if I see someone carrying an iPhone, I'm most likely going to think the following about them:
1. They are not that bright, especially when it comes to technology.
2. They cannot think for themselves.
3. They probably don't do research before buying something.

It may not apply for 100% of iPhone owners, but I'm sure going to believe it about them. Will I treat someone differently based on that? You're damn right I will.

I always find the fanboism on both sides of a hardware/software debate to be humorous.

I personally am an avid Windows Mobile and iPhone user. I prefer Windows Mobile for the PDA functions and our internally written audit software, but for entertainment and applications as a whole, I prefer the iPhone.

Anyone could list a ton of reason why either devices are better than one another but the reality is that compared to PDA phones from even 3 years ago, they both kick some serious ass.

Either that or I am an non-technical autonomon who can't read reviews, but what ever.

To the OP, just tell your friends that yours is better because your cooler than they are.

why do you care if they like the iphone and not the TP2???

these threads are childish IMO, be happy with what you got and let them be happy with what they got.

My Sisters son is absolutely brilliant (he went to Dartmouth on a full academic scholarship & now works for Nasa). I gave him a TP when he was first considering a PPC & he absolutely hated it. He had no desire whatever to customize it & just wanted something that worked perfectly right out of the box (& nobody has ever said a TP will do that).

He bought an iphone & absolutely loves it. He bought it after trying some of his co-workers iphones (they all love them also)

Not everybody is a geek like the posters here (most PPC users aren't actually). That certainly doesn't make them "technically incompetent" either, my Sister's kid works with real life "rocket scientists" & he is an engineer with two PHD's

You even quoted what I said when I said this doesn't apply to 100% of users. Can you not read? So it basically sounds like your nephew is a bright user, unfortunately he has no individualism and can't think for himself (which was actually #2 on my list). And how lovely it is, considering my formula, that he works for the government, because there is just tons of freedom and individuality in government jobs. Ha! I'm sure he's the hit of the party, too.

If you assume all of this based on the phone someone carries then you are quite moronic.

This is probably the most stupid post that I've seen since joining this forum. I have no interest in the iphone just because I don't like the phone or it's service. It's simple preference and nothing else.
