Re: Newbie Cook -- Can a ROM brick my device?
I don't think it could, only way i can see that happening is if you went ballistic and deleted critical system files that are kept in every ROM lol.

Re: Newbie Cook -- Can a ROM brick my device?
First cook was a fail, successfully loaded rom on device, device rebooted --- got to 100% on the first loading screen, and didn't move after that.
Sad day ;P |

Re: Newbie Cook -- Can a ROM brick my device?
Does it boot up at all? I think as long as you can get a connection to your computer you should be able to flash it back to the OEM rom as I had to do. If it does brick I would take it over to sprint/whatever carrier your using and make something up so they give me a replacement. Its worth a shot and you wont lose anything by doing so even if they say no.

Re: Newbie Cook -- Can a ROM brick my device?
Acid, if you want any help I've had some decent success cooking 6.1 roms for the treo pro so far. I am working on one but working on trying to remove keyguard without any delay from waking the phone up. I also have a few other pretty nice tweaks in what I've got so far.
