Can't download file from sms text!

Hi i'm a newbie so hopefully someone can help me out i just recieved a text message with pictures but i keep gettin an error whenever i try to download the pic! i have a data plan and not only does it not download it keeps repeating the message to my inbox

btw also if i'm searching the web i can't download anything either please any pro's with a fix for this?

Are you getting any error messages? If so, please post them.

If you see the text, you've downloaded all there is to download. SMS is purely text.

I just texted my girlfriend "New file received! Click HERE to download!" Wonder how long that will keep her tapping her screen.

it says file download error, then it ask to either cancel download or download file anyway, its a picture download so i don't know why I can't see it

are u using the palm threaded sms program on ur 850e??

yes u can, but when i downloaded it, i was getting the problem u described. thats why i asked.

Hi,

Dont know if you guys fixed this but, it's a registry issue (WINdows suprise). Get a good PPC registry editor and goto: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Arcsoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\mm1\MMSCSetting\AT&T (my carrier is AT&T) on your device. Then proceed to change the following default values(currently 307000) to 512000 (or what you feel comfortable with):
WAP1RecvDefaultSize
WAP1SendDefaultSize
WAP2RecvDefaultSize
WAP2SendDefaultSize

WORKS LIKE A CHARM!!!

That is going to be an AT&T issue due to how they regulate data usage. The majority of us here are CDMA users which don't have those limitations
