can't change ringer

hello all,

call me stupid but i don't know how to change my ringer tone. i went to settings/sounds notifications/manage, then selected my ring tone and pushed ok but it's doesn't change the tone.

please clarify how i do change my ring tone.

Maybe it is the wrong file format.
The ringtone you want is in the proper place and it shows up so you can select it?
Did you try soft resetting after?

i'm trying to select one of the pre loaded ring tones but every time i try to select one and push ok, it's still the same old original one.

I am not that familiar with your device.
Does it have a touch screen? Does it have WinMo 6.1?

To change your ring tone you need to go the the Notification tab, not the Manage tab. Hit the down arrow to show the drop box where it says Events. On that drop down box scroll down, you will see "Phone: Known Calls" and "Phone: Unknown Calls. Then from the drop box just below Events, select your ring tone. And make sure the "Play sound" box is checked.
