Num Lock in Excel Mobile?

When I put the keyboard in num lock mode it will stay locked until I change cells. Once I exit the cell I activated num lock in the keyboard goes back to regular mode. I have to use excel to enter a lot of number on a daily basis and this is a real PITA.

Does anyone know if any method besides a SIP that will keep the num lock on between cell changes?
